Matt Stone

You said, "The doctrine of Transubstantiation is the quintessential demonstration of the pagan thinking which lies at the 'heart' of 'orthodox' Christian teachings" not recognizing that the doctrine of transubstantiation is not accepted by all 'orthodox' Christians. There is more to Christianity than just the Catholic church.

Matt,

Thanks for your comment. I do realise that the doctrine of Transubstantiation is not held by other Christian denominations.

However, this doctrine was not developed in a vacuum. It builds upon other pagan and polytheistic ideas such as the Miraculous Incarnation, the Trinity, and the various divinity teachings.

Transubstantiation is merely the most visible and representative of these pagan teachings.
